Maricopa County Downtown Court Tower

Norment Security Group, Inc. was awarded a $7.0 million contract for the detention equipment work for the Maricopa County Court Tower, located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. This modern 13 story court tower is contained in 695,000 square feet, and includes 32 courtrooms with 22 of these courtrooms fully built out. The Court Tower also houses 1,300 in-custody holding cells, centralized jury assembly space, victim and witness waiting area, and secure judicial chambers.
This facility will be connected by underground tunnel to the massive 4th Avenue Jail, another high profile Phoenix project for which Norment served as the DEC. Norment was involved in securing the first eight floors of this court tower. Norment furnished and installed the following Detention Equipment:
