Norment Security Group, Inc. was awarded an $8.5 Million contract for the detention equipment and security electronics systems work for the $136 Million Central Health Services Building at San Quentin Prison in Marin County, California. Norment’s work included the fabrication and erection of Norment’s MaxWall Modular Cell System, Detention Swinging Doors, Security Ceilings a roof-top Outdoor Recreation Yard and Airteq Detention Hardware throughout the facility.
Along with detention equipment, Norment also installed a Video IP and Digital Recording System with over 200 cameras, a PLC Door Monitoring System, a Card Access System Controlling nondetention doors and a Man-Down System. The Central Health Services Building comprises Medical Health Care, Mental Health Services, Dental Health Care and Inmate Receiving and Release.
